Shaykh Hamza Yusuf is a Sunni Muslim scholar of much authority over the Muslims living in the North West. There is much information about him on this website

Hamza Yusuf is one of the leading proponents of classical learning in Islam. He has promoted Islamic sciences and classical teaching methodologies throughout the world. He has also been a strong advocate for social justice, peace, and conviviality among peoples and places.

This is an unofficial website, run by someone who has found much good in the many talks Shaykh Hamza has given over the past several years. It is based on information he discusses in the Public Domain, which is subsequently documented and added to this website.

This website is managed alone, and gets help from supporters who write-in with missed information.

More Information

In my own spiritial development, Sh Hamza has been instrumental in reorienting me towards the traditional practises of Ahlul Sunnah wal Jammah. He's energized me to do things that I couldn't before. And most important, he was the intermediary, his activities allowing me to eventually meet my own Shaykh. And this entire process occurred with no communciation or physical contact. He's a Wali, for I have witnessed the Barakah of his words, company and command.

Sh Hamza does know of the website, and has been supportive from a distance. We spoke on the Rihla about the website, and at an ISNA convention. It's always fun when I catch him not name a book or biographical event, out of what I assume, is a fear that I may document it on here.

Many people have found the website useful, which has been my goal. Inshallah, if you are still reading, make dua for me and my family, for the Shaykh, and for this website's continued success. I only continue running it for all the people that still read the site and benefit from the knowledge within. Jazakullah.
