|Event Description||Zaytuna College President, Hamza Yusuf has just returned from several weeks of travel that included stops in Toronto for RIS and in Marrakech, Morocco, for a conference co-sponsored by the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies, led by Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah. The conference resulted in the Marrakech Declaration, which commits Muslim scholars and intellectuals to develop a more inclusive concept of citizenship that protects the rights of religious minorities in Muslim lands. During this session, he will outline the global intellectual challenges facing Muslims today, especially in relation to his most recent travels and activities.|
